Please see the attached revised agenda for our last meeting of the year. We will be voting for new positions on the Executive Board and approving a proposed budget for next year. Please join us in the McKinley Library at 7pm.
McKinley Garden
Garden recess Thursdays and summer Wednesdays
The final two recess Thursdays for the garden are here, sign ups below. Help can still be used to supervise the kids or distribute mulch/wood chips.
The garden is typically open Wednesday evenings in the summer, weather permitting, for maintenance and to enjoy the space, or pick any fruits/vegetables that are growing. If you would like to receive information about opening of the garden over the summer, please email mzamborsky@gmail.com to be added to the list.
Yearbooks for Sale

Scarecrow Night Co-Chairs Needed for Next Fall
We have already begun planning for next year's activities. If anyone is interested in taking over McKinley's wonderful Scarecrow Night, please email mckinleypto@gmail.com. We are looking for 2 co-chairs to share in the planning.
Skating Party Co-Chair Needed
Our current chair, Kelly Moore, is looking for someone to join her for next year's skating parties to take over this event the following year. It requires very little time, but you do have to be at the events. Please email mckinleypto@gmail.com.

5th Annual Celebration of Life - Shane's Future Days
Shane's Future Days, is hosting their 5th annual Celebration of Life event on June 15, 2019 from 1pm-6pm at VE Club in Warminster, PA. There will be a soccer friendly starting at noon to kick off the event.
The event is free to children under 18 and adults are $35 before 6/14 and $40 at the door. Price includes: picnic food, drinks, music, inflatables, face painting, snowcones and more. They will have raffles and silent auction items, as well as guest speakers from CHOP and The Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute.(Please see attached flyer for more details).
Shane’s Future Days is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation whose mission is to raise awareness, research funds and assist families currently battling alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma and other high risk childhood cancers. All the proceeds will benefit high risk childhood cancer research and CHOP's cancer center.The Metzgar Family lost their 19 month old son in March 2015 to an rare pediatric cancer. If there had been newer, targeted treatments, Shane would have been a Kindergartener at McKinley. Please see the links below.
