Thursday Update
It's hard to believe another school year is nearing its end. We would like to thank all of the volunteers that have helped at PTO events - there are a few more to go. Please see signups below. The summer is a great time to fill out the clearance paperwork and get your badges.

PTO Meeting - Thursday, June 6
Please see the attached agenda for our last meeting of the year. We will be voting for new positions on the Executive Board and approving a proposed budget for next year. Please join us in the McKinley Library at 7pm. We will be updating the meeting's agenda to show that Dr. Fecher, our Superintendent, will be at the meeting to discuss facility use.
McKinley Garden
Final school weeks in the garden
We have four upcoming times to assist with the garden (volunteer sign-ups permitting) - 3 final Thursday recesses with the kids, and 1 work day this coming Friday with high school students.
As of right now, we do NOT have enough volunteers to open the garden for recess this Thursday. Ms. DiMaria's class is scheduled to visit. If we do not get enough volunteers by tomorrow evening, the garden will not be open & this K class will not have another opportunity to visit.
Volunteers are also needed Friday - it will involve weeding, mulching, distributing wood chips on walkways, filling the "digging hole", and general clean up. Please note if you are a 6th grade parent (or 5th grade helping parent!) this Friday is an excellent time to assist with getting the garden ready for the graduation reception. You DON'T need a badge to help on Friday, as the elementary students will NOT be in the garden this day.
Yearbooks for Sale
