McKinley Spring Fair NEEDS HELP!

STEAM Clubs for Students in Grades K & 1 - More Volunteers Needed ASAP
There are only enough volunteers for 4 clubs so far and we would like to have more parents to help run clubs for our STEAM program (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), Clubs begin in March for four weeks one day after school. This program will be specifically for students in Kindergarten and First grade. Do you have a talent or unsure of an idea for a club? Are you willing to assist with a club run by another adult?

Grades 4 -6 Box Top Contest Results
Congratulations to Ms. Crumbock's class for winning the Grades 4 to 6 Contest. They also collected the most Box Tops in both contests! Ms. Crumbock's class will be able to choose either a pizza or water ice party to celebrate.
We have raised over $1500 this school year with Box Tops. Over the years, McKinley has raised over $26,000 with this fundraiser. Thank you to all who participated and volunteered to count. Please see class totals below:
Race for Education Fundraiser
RACE FOR EDUCATION is underway! Please help our school in making the biggest fundraiser of the year a huge success. If everyone raises at least $50 we can exceed our goal. We have again teamed up with the Get Movin' Crew at https://www.getmovinfundraising.com/ which enables families to seek out sponsors via social media platforms. Please enroll your child today and let the donations begin!
6th Grade Fundraiser at SNAP Custom Pizza - Monday, March 4
Winter blues got you down? Let SNAP Pizza do the cooking for you while supporting the 6th Grade Class. Just bring the attached coupon to SNAP, located in the Fairway, on Monday, March 4 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm and 50% of the profits will be donated to the 6th Grade! Printed coupons will be sent home soon.
McKinley Roller Skating Party - Tuesday, March 19
Please join us at the Roller Skating Party at the Palace Skating Center located at 11586 Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia from 2:00pm tp 4:00pm. The cost is $5 per skater plus $3 skate rentals (to be paid there). This is a CASH ONLY event (closed to the public). There is now an ATM available at this site! A snack bar is also available. Parents must provide transportation and supervision for their student(s) for this event.
McKingo - Friday, March 22
The McKingo Committee is looking for a volunteer with graphic design experience or talent to create a new program for this year's event. Service Logs - 2018-19 Log Available
Please encourage you child to complete the service form throughout the year as they are doing community service in school or the community. The updated 2018-19 Service Log is attached below. Please remember Mrs. Hartzell must have them IN HAND by Friday, April 26th, 2019.

We accept payment of dues anytime during the school year. You can pay your dues by check (payable to McKinley Elementary PTO) or cash and send them to school with your child in an envelope marked "PTO DUES". You can pay dues electronically if you have a PayPal account.
